Laser removal of skin lesions

Laser removal of skin lesions

Removal of skin lesions with a CO2 laser is a bloodless and safe solution that carries no risk of procedure-related infections because the device does not contact the skin. A lesion is usually entirely removed; however, in the case of viral skin lesions, it may be necessary to repeat the procedure.

The indications for the treatment include:

  • Fibromas
  • Cherry angiomas
  • Viral warts
  • Genital warts
  • Tattoos
  • Certain types of scars
  • Other skin growths

During the procedure, a skin lesion is evaporated using a CO2 laser. An aesthetic injection or cream is in advance applied on the treated area.
